Parking
Parking Permits will be emailed by the NUI Galway Conference Office to all registered IPSAM2013 visitors.
Visitors may also park in Pay and Display (P&D) spaces, which are located in various locations on campus.
As well as paying with coins, all meters have the capability of accepting cards with pre-programmed credit, which are available at cost from the Parking & Information Office (+353-91-495063) on campus.

Travelling by Public Transport
Galway is accessible by public transport. Use GetThere to identify what is best route for you.
Trains: Galway's train station located adjacent to Eyre Square. Galway city is well serviced by rail and only 2.5 hours from Dublin Heuston by rail. Irish Rail currently has free wifi and elictricity charging for laptops is possible on the train.
Buses: You can travel to Galway using frequent services offered by the Bus Eireann public bus service, or also use one of the private bus services such as CityLink or GoBus. Free wifi is typically provided on the private bus operators, but you chould check if wifi is available on Bus Eireann buses. There are direct (non-stop buses) to Galway from most major cities in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Limerick etc).
Travelling by air
The airports you can use to travel to NUI Galway are either Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport or Knock Airport.
Shannon Airport and Knock Airport are both just an hour's drive from Galway. To get to Galway, you can travel by bus with Bus Eireann (both airports) or CityLink (Shannon airport only). Alternatively, car hire is easily available at these airports.
Dublin Airport is 3 hours drive from Galway city. There are frequent and reliable bus services (CityLink, GoBus) to choose from to travel from Dublin airport to Galway city.
